Strawberry Point, Iowa
For only $85,000, you can grab this quaint double-story home with four bedrooms, 1.5 baths, main floor laundry and original hardwood floors. It features pocket doors, an open staircase, and original woodwork. The lot size is 10,454 square feet, while the house itself is 2,644 square feet. It has a private backyard and a beautiful wraparound porch.
Alexandria, Minnesota
It might not look like much now, but for $49,000 and a new lick of paint, this old town hall can be transformed into a gorgeous single-story home. It used to be Homes City’s town hall, just outside of Alexandria, built around 1900, making this building over a century old. The house definitely needs some work, but you’ll even get the old piano as well. Who knows what other treasure will be found?
Lansing, Michigan
This historical brickwork home is on the market for $75,000 and is absolutely gorgeous. It features five bedrooms, a spacious floor plan with historical charm, a new furnace and roof, and an additional outside structure. It is going to need some work, but it’s a great fixer-upper.
Clyde, New York
If you have been waiting for a house to come along that has an old saloon vibe, this one is it. The double-story Victorian structure is available for $55,000 and features four bedrooms, one bath and measures 3,174 square feet. Mount Gilead, North Carolina

But in all seriousness, built in 1892, it is known as the Scarborough house and was once owned by the first settlers in Montgomery County. The beautiful Victorian exterior will need some restoration to bring it back to its former glory. It sits on a 3.7-acre lot, and the house has five bedrooms, one bathroom and four fireplaces.
Bonus: Luverne, New Mexico
If an old town hall isn’t for you, what about an old church? Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, you might want to find an extra $25,000 to cover the $125,000 listing price. Located on a corner lot, the structure used to be the Gothic Revival Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
