Track Santa with this fun site the kids in your family will love
Christmas Eve is finally here, and you know what that means? Yep. Your kids or grandchildren will be anxiously waiting for Santa. It’s been easy for years to go online and keep tabs on Santa Claus and his elves, especially with “Santa tracker” websites.
One such site is from Google, which has gone live with its annual Google Santa Tracker. In the final hours leading up to Christmas morning, you and your kids will be able to see where Santa Claus and his reindeer are and how long it’ll be before he arrives at your house.
But, in the meantime, Google has made its Santa Tracker a lot of fun. Kids can play games all around Santa’s Village. Adults can donate to a worthwhile charity like Libraries Without Borders, Khan Academy and more.
Having fun with Google Santa Tracker
To get started, click on the three-line menu logo at the top left of your screen, then tap the “Season of Giving” button. That takes you to a page where your kids can play with a virtual coloring book, and you can link to any charity you want to learn more about.
The Google Santa Tracker also features a wide array of Christmas-themed, educational games, as well as coding exercises and tips and tricks for using your Google Assistant to “call” Santa or tell jokes about Santa Claus and his merry elves.
Elsewhere on the site, your kids can see what’s going on at the North Pole Airport and explore a map to learn about Christmas traditions around the world. For example, did you know that Australians head out to the beach on Christmas to play cricket and cook prawns on a barbecue?
Starting on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, they can watch an all-day, all-night, live Santa tracker. Your kids or grandchildren will fall asleep feeling excited about Christmas morning. Hopefully, they’ll doze off early enough so you can help Santa put gifts under the tree.
Note: If you want to track Santa on your Android device, tap or click here to get the Google Santa Tracker app from the Google Play store.
