Don't miss Kim's newsletters: Instructions for AOL Mail users

Spam blockers are great. They keep you from receiving unwanted emails, including ones that could contain viruses or links to malicious sites.

Unfortunately, the spam blocker in AOL Mail is causing some of my readers to miss out on my helpful daily newsletters.

That’s why I’ve put together these easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions to ensure that you keep getting my newsletters uninterrupted. Don’t worry, it only takes a minute and a few clicks.

Check the spam folder

If you haven’t been receiving my newsletters, you will want to check to see if they’re being sent to the spam folder.

Log in to your AOL email account, and then click on the “Spam” link in the left-hand column to open this folder.

If you find your Komando newsletters in the spam folder, simply select that newsletter and click “NOT SPAM.” Clicking on this button will remove the spam tag from the email and move it directly back into your inbox.

Add me to your contacts

Next, you will want to add me to your contact list just so we know this won’t happen again.

AOL should automatically add each of my newsletter addresses to your contact list, but if for some reason it didn’t, you can do it manually.

Click “Contacts” on the left side of the page, then click the “NEW CONTACT” button.

From here, you will need to enter a few details. Add my name as well as the appropriate email address for the newsletter you want to receive.

Just keep in mind that you will need to do this for all of my newsletters that you receive. Here’s a list of my Komando newsletters and the email contact you will need to add:
