Huge news for folks who drink their morning coffee in the car. 

Chinese automaker Seres patented an in-car toilet that deploys from under the passenger seat on command. It dries waste, vents odors and stores everything in a tank you eventually have to empty yourself. Dignity has limits.

Just say “start up toilet function,” and boom, mobile bathroom. Maybe “Oh no, please not now” might work, too. 

Karaoke, massage seats, mini-fridges, trunk drones, Chinese automakers are in an arms race of weird, and I don’t hate it.
