Parking is terrible. Grocery pickup is worse. Chip thinks your car should deal with both while you stay seated.

The starting-at-$15,000 electric runabout tops out at 25 mph and claims 100-plus miles per charge. Its Chip Go service promises curbside pickups, parking and a return when summoned.

But it’s not self-driving. A trained human pilots the empty vehicle remotely, like a giant RC car with someone else’s insurance paperwork.
