This Christmas is no different. Keep reading for this year’s hottest Christmas gifts so you can snag them before they’re gone.

I’ve compiled this list of Hot Christmas Gifts for 2018 based on industry trends, my tech-insider insights and my proven hunches.

Plus, you can help me out – let me know in the Comments if there’s a hot gift that’s not on my list.

Echo Show, $179.99, Amazon

This tech wonder is white hot. Think like “Tickle Me Elmo” in 1996 hot … minus the toy store brawls between soccer moms. The Echo Show isn’t the future, it’s the now item that plays personal assistant, diverse disc-jockey and tell-all TV guide guru all at the same time.

You can ask Alexa to see lyrics and album art with Amazon Music, glimpse at the weather forecasts, glance at calendars, to-do lists, and your favorite playlists. The must have gadget lets you watch live television and sports with a Hulu subscription, movies and shows from Prime Video, or music videos from Vevo.

Apple Watch Series 4, from $549.99, Amazon

Not sure if you heard or not but experts say it’s doomsday for those that love the tangible feel of their smartphone. You know that panhandler wearing the sign that says “The End Is Near” … he’s not that crazy, in fact he’s well informed after reading this.

The fashion technology push will continue with zero bumps in the road paved into 2019. I guess my question becomes, why wait? If we are headed toward a future where a ring or a bracelet is king why not start now with the latest Apple Watch?

Furbo Dog Camera, $139.99, Amazon

Let me get my proverbial dog pun out of the way, the holidays don’t have to be ruff with this futuristic friend for Fido.

I personally bought this for a close family member and they swear by it. The Furbo basically allows you to face time with your pet by accessing the Furbo camera with the app on your smartphone.

But wait, there’s more. You can voice record a greeting and at the touch of a button remotely launch treats to your four-legged friend eagerly wagging his or her tail and you get to watch the whole process live! It simply can’t be understated that select tech gifts have changed our lives as we know it. The advancements for tech-savvy pet-owners is no exception as this is a must have.

iRobot Roomba 690 Robot Vacuum with Wi-Fi, $279, Amazon

OK, so you are of the Clark Griswold variety during the holiday season? You put up a REAL Christmas tree, sap spots start popping up on your hardwood floors. Pine needles get the salt-shaker treatment as they spread to places of your home that you didn’t even know existed.

Roomba to the rescue! This trendy tech-gift will tidy up your home during December and the other 11 months left on the calendar.

TCL 65R617 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Roku Smart LED TV, from $999.99, Amazon

I don’t want to watch the ball drop, the NFL playoffs, the Rose Bowl parade … basically anything unless it’s in 4K from the comforts of my own couch.

I know I’m not alone, 4K was a luxury in 2018 and in 2019 it will be the standard by which all televisions are judged.

We sifted through all the reviews, all the experts that weighed in and this TCL model came out unscathed. It really offers the best cost to pristine picture ratio when you boil it down to dollars and cents. Beware, you need A LOT of wrapping paper for this one, maybe just a nice bow will do sans holiday-themed gift wrap.

Komando Emergency Essentials Kit, $199.99, Komando Shop

I’m not playing “Debbie Downer” here, I’m just being a realist.

The wildfires that swept across California in the later portion of 2018 were only a bookend to the natural disasters that rocked our nation over the past year. Blizzards, floods, and tornadoes were just some of the deadly disasters that made headlines and ripped cities and towns apart.

This gift of being prepared has no price tag, the feeling of being ready for anything doesn’t come with buyers remorse.

Head on over to our shop now for a closer look at my essential kit for an emergency situation.

VicTsing Shower Speaker, $24.49, Amazon

The last two must have gifts to wrap up 2018 are both under $65!

C’mon, admit it. You sing in the shower. Your significant other has caught you belting out “Africa” by Toto a couple of times, it’s OK, you’re not alone.

This little package packs a punch of sound for the shower or just as an outdoor speaker.

TP-Link AC1750 WiFi Range Extender, $65, Amazon

So I have a first-world problem, I have issues getting solid Wi-Fi in my garage for some reason. Whenever I’m about to pull in/out of my garage my phone losses it’s mind not knowing if it has connection to my home Wi-Fi or not. I hate it because I know it’s an extender issue that can be easily fixed.

Here is a great solution, a Wi-Fi range extender that will solve my crazy problem, and yours too. Find it at Amazon.
