New mini-drone is so easy to fly, anyone can do it!

Drones have become a trendy tech gadget for people of all age groups over the last few years. You’ve probably seen them hovering around while you’re out exploring a nature trail or fishing at the lake. These clever little devices are used to capture otherwise hard to get pictures and video.

If you’ve ever looked into purchasing a drone, you know that high-quality ones are priced at a minimum of $1,000. Until now. A new model has just hit the market that you can pick up for half that price and it’s super easy to use as well.

An affordable drone you’re going to love

One of the most popular drone manufacturers has just unveiled its smallest and least expensive model yet. It’s called the Spark from DJI and costs from $499 and up, depending on the extras you choose.

The company said, “The Spark is a mini drone that features all of DJI’s signature technologies, allowing you to seize the moment whenever you feel inspired. With intelligent flight control options, a mechanical gimbal, and a camera with incredible image quality, Spark empowers you to push your creative boundaries.”

Another great innovation built into the Spark is the way you can control it with hand movements. With intelligent flight controls like ActiveTrack and TapFly, you will be able to use gesture control to send the drone in any direction. Not only that but you can take a photo with the drone by just using hand gestures, without a remote or mobile device. It’s truly amazing!

Here are some of the Spark’s specs:

  • Battery – 16 minutes of flight time
  • Speed – Just over 31 MPH
  • Transmission distance – 1.2 miles
  • Effective Pixels – 12MP

The Spark also has a quick launch feature. It lifts off from your hand by recognizing you and hovers in place within seconds of powering on.

There are five colors to choose from: Alpine white, meadow green, sky blue, sunrise yellow and lava red. DJI is accepting pre-orders now and the Spark is set to ship in June.
