But one new vehicle, in particular, is turning heads due to its stunning combination of tech and power. The new Ford F-150 is finally here, and it’s bringing with it some seriously advanced new features. Here’s what you can expect to find in this beast of a truck.
The new Ford F-150: Much more than just muscle
Ford has officially unveiled the highly anticipated 2021 F-150 pickup truck, and auto enthusiasts are already salivating at the sheer volume of technology that comes standard with every model.
Based on newly released information from Ford’s official website, the new F-150 will feature an optional hands-free driving mode similar in function to Tesla’s popular Autopilot feature.
And just like Tesla, this truck is capable of receiving critical software updates over the air. But these aren’t the only new features you can expect in the F-150. The vehicle comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity features that make it easy to stream music and use portions of your smartphone without taking your eyes off the road.
What’s more, Ford plans on releasing a first for the truck series: An upcoming hybrid version that can travel approximately 700 miles on a full tank of gas. That’s extremely rare for a car of its size and weight!
When can I test drive the new F-150?
As of now, no official release date has been set, but signs point to production officially beginning around October of this year. This points to either a late 2020 or early 2021 release on showroom floors.
It may seem like a long time to wait, but hey, at least it’s coming quite a bit earlier than the Tesla Cybertruck. That electric vehicle is set to debut some time in either late 2021 or early 2022. Tap or click here to see the hilarious and cringe-worthy unveiling of the Tesla Cybertruck.
