You’ll love Google’s new, free feature

Do you remember the first time you used the computer to create a drawing instead of crayons and paper? You were probably using Microsoft’s Paintbrush or Apple’s MacPaint applications. It was fun to use but hard to make anything worthy of a spot on the fridge.

A new, free web tool from Google called AutoDraw will bring you back to the good old days. But don’t worry if your drawing skills still haven’t improved! The tool will take you from preschool scribbler to graphic-artist guru.

The Google Blog said it “pairs machine learning with drawings created by talented artists to help you draw.” You draw an object and the software guesses what you were trying to create. It’s really fun and easy to use.

Other than doodling to pass the time, this app could be really useful for creating flyers, cards and other simple design projects. And when your masterpiece is complete, you can download the image or share it on Twitter, Facebook and Google+.

You can switch from “AutoDraw” to “Draw” if you prefer your own creative scribbles to the preset pictures. And if you happen to be a graphic artist, then you can submit your own drawings to be included in the web tool.

Google recently made this tool available for phones, tablets and computers. Click the button below to try it for yourself.
