I am old enough to remember the days of snail-mail when you had to hand-write a letter, pop it in the mailbox and wait a couple weeks to hear back from them. For example, I want my birthday greeting emails to be delivered on the recipient’s actual birthday.It would be nice to have a way to schedule emails to be sent at a future date and time. Good news, this cool site lets you do just allows you to send emails at any future date and time that you choose.With this service, you can write emails with your existing email address, and they will be sent at the exact moment you specify. Down to the minute. Once you’ve created a free account, you can use LetterMeLater without having to visit the site. Here’s how:
  • Create an email that you would like to have delivered at a later date like normal. It can even be a reply or forwarded email.
  • Address the email to
  • Put the recipient’s email address, along with the time to send, at the top of the message. (Note: This text will be removed from the email when it’s sent.)
  • You will immediately receive a response, indicating whether the email was scheduled successfully or not. If it was, you’ll see the email in your LetterMeLater account.

When scheduling an email to be delivered at a later time, the date format is flexible. You can either enter a time relative to the current time or an absolute time. For example, now, next Saturday, next year, 3 p.m., tomorrow at 6:30 a.m., 5 hours, etc.Recipients can either be email addresses or group names. Each entry must be separated by a comma or a semi-colon. You can also put multiple entries on separate lines.The basic LetterMeLater service is free to use. You can schedule up to 30 emails per month for free with up to three recipients per message. The free account limits attachments per email to 2MB in size and the size limit of total attachments per account is 10MB.There is an upgraded account option that costs $19.95 per year. With it, you can schedule up to 400 emails per month with up to 400 recipients per email.
