The iPhone 11 is finally here, and as a special treat for my viewers, I've managed to get my hands on a brand new 11 Pro Max to unbox. This wasn't a phone that I necessarily wanted or needed, but with all the buzz surrounding Apple's latest gadget, I figured why not try one for myself and see if it lives up to the hype.
Now, keep in mind, this isn't the budget iPhone 11 either. When you buy anything Apple, there's always a range of upgrades and fees that take you from the "starting at" price-point all the way up to something more realistic. And for this model of iPhone 11 Pro Max, that price is over $1,500! Is a phone really worth all that?
Does the iPhone 11 Pro Max warrant a price tag as big as its triple camera setup? We'll let you decide that for yourself. Here are my thoughts on Apple's latest entry in its long-running series of smartphones.
Wait, how much is that phone again!?
For more than $1,500, you end up with a top of the line iPhone, but is the price really worth it? During my unboxing video, I go over the packaging, product, and setup of the iPhone 11 Pro Max to help my viewers make a decision on whether this phone is the right call for them.
One thing that instantly stood out to me was the fact that the iPhone 11 Pro Max looks virtually identical to my iPhone X. From the front, there is absolutely no difference. It's only when you turn the device around and see that big camera lineup that you know you're in for a (slightly) different experience.
On top of that, setup is quick and easy — and uses a cool transfer method that pulls all the data from your old device on to the new one. The days of long, complex restores might end up becoming a thing of the past after all.
Above all, if you're looking for a new iPhone, this is the best that Apple is offering. Still, with a lack of 5G and unoriginal body shape, I can't say I'm too impressed with the whole ordeal. Is it a nice phone? Sure. Is it worth $1,500? You be the judge.
Take a look at the video above for an even more in-depth look, and make sure to keep your eyes peeled for more updates surrounding Apple's new devices and the many new features found in iOS 13.
