The best part about pancakes is everything, which is why the fluffy goodness is as much a part of breakfast as anything.
They're so versatile, as pancakes can be plain, with butter or syrup (or both), while also made with extra goodies like chocolate chips, bacon, blueberries and pretty much anything else you can think of. They can also be served with jelly, and pancakes come in all different shapes, sizes and stacks.
But no matter how they are preferred, the point is you will have a tough time finding someone who truly, genuinely does not like pancakes. One might prefer french toast, which is fine. Waffles are also very good, while biscuits and gravy are never a bad choice, either.
Yet, you can't go wrong with pancakes.
The only thing better than pancakes is free pancakes
Indeed, pancake lovers may see February 27 as a sort of holiday, since IHOP will be offering customers a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes.
This is about when your mouth starts watering and your stomach begins to growl a bit.
Because let's reiterate, we're talking about free pancakes. Free pancakes!
Just visit an IHOP between 7 am and 7 pm on Tuesday (some locations will offer extended hours to 10 pm) to claim your bounty, though you should probably expect a bit of a wait. After all, pancakes are delicious, so other people are likely to have the same idea as you.

While anyone who goes will benefit from the joy pancakes bring, the promotion is actually held to help others. IHOP has been doing it annually since 2006, with the idea that guests will hopefully leave a donation that will go toward helping local children's hospitals and other health organizations.
The goal is to raise $5 million this year, and IHOP says since 2006, their franchisees and guests have raised nearly $30 million for community partners.
