Have you been paying attention to the 2018 Winter Olympics? The event kicked off Friday from Pyeongchang, South Korea with a spectacular Opening Ceremony.
If you were able to catch the Opening Ceremonies or at least some highlights, you may have noticed some snazzy gear worn by Team USA.
This year's Team USA outfits aren't just stylish though. They also have some pretty amazing technology built-in to keep the athletes warm...and you might be able to get one for yourself!
How Team USA is staying warm in the blistering cold
Polo Ralph Lauren has teamed up with the U.S. Olympic Committee to create a state-of-the-art jacket. It actually has a self-heating interior built right in and get this, it's controlled by Bluetooth to your phone.
The warmth comes from an American flag on the interior back panel, which is printed with an extremely advanced conductive carbon and silver ink.
So what does that mean? Each jacket combines the natural warmth of 750-fill-power down with modern technology. The jackets are water-repellent and are equipped with a slender battery pack with three heat settings (that lasts up to 11 hours at full charge), allowing athletes to maximize their own comfort based on how cold it gets.
