Is your dishwasher a fire hazard?
Over two years ago there was a massive recall of 149,000 dishwashers. The recall was prompted by reports of overheating power cords that could burst into flames. It included several major brands such as Bosch and Kenmore.
That safety recall is being expanded. Now, over 408,000 more dishwashers are being recalled due to potential fire hazards.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said the total number of recalled dishwashers is now 557,000. The impacted dishwashers were manufactured by BSH Home Appliances and sold under these brand names:
- Kenmore Elite
