As you probably know, Google is the most popular search engine in the world. The company recently said that it handles more than 3.5 billion searches worldwide every day. That's amazing!
It's so much more than just a search engine though. There are Google Maps, Gmail, the Chrome browser, Android phones and other features. The tech giant has now thrown its hat into a trend that's sweeping the nation.
How to use Google's latest fun feature
Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few months, you've heard of the fidget spinner. It's a small, three-pronged device made of plastic and metal that spins on a center ball bearing.
This toy is not only being marketed as a stress reliever but also a way to help children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) concentrate. We actually debunked the ADHD claims in May, there have been no medical studies to back them up.
Even though these popular toys haven't been proven to alleviate medical conditions, they are fun. Now, Google has made it easier than ever to enjoy the calming flow of a fidget spinner. The company has created a digital version that can be spun right on your gadget's screen.
It will come up as the first result when you type "spinner" into a Google search. Once you've found the spinner, just click spin and watch it go. There are even multiple levels of speed to make it go faster and faster.
If you decide that a fidget spinner isn't your thing, there is another option. Google has included the option of changing the feature from a fidget to a numbered wheel. Just move the slider in the upper-right corner to whichever option you prefer.
