Huge 4K TV comes with a hefty price tag
C SEED

Do you remember the size of your very first TV? The screen was probably about the same size as one of today's larger laptops while the body was a clunky box.

And now you can buy 75-inch screens that lay right against your wall. If you already thought that was too big then the world's biggest 4K TV will make your jaw drop.

C SEED, a luxury entertainment technology company based in Austria, created the C SEED 262. It has a 262-inch (about 22 feet) screen that they claim sets a world record. The height is 8.44 feet, the width is 20.16 feet, and it weighs 1,693.15 pounds.

The 262 has 10 speakers built inside of it that provide a 7.1. sound quality or a 9.1 cinema surround configuration. There's also a button you can press that slides a fabric cover over the whole screen.

And just how much does it cost? A whopping $539,000! For comparison's sake, here are the prices of the largest 4K TVs that Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart sell:

  • Amazon - LG 98-inch Class 4K Ultra HD 3D Smart LED TV costs $39,997.00
  • Best Buy -Samsung 88-inch Class Curved 2160p Smart 4K Ultra HD TV costs $19,999.99
  • Walmart - Samsung 85-inch 4K Ultra HD 2160p 120Hz LED LCD Smart HDTV costs $10,999.99

But wait, there's more! In addition to a TV that costs over a half a million dollars, you can pay C SEED $38,500 to install it for you.

If you had the money (and then some) would you buy this massive TV? Or is there such a thing as a TV that's just too big? Let me know what you think in the comments section below.
