Police tweet looking for owners of 5.5 pounds of pot

Police tweet looking for owners of 5.5 pounds of pot

Like other police departments throughout the country, officers in Columbus, Indiana decided to take to social media to help solve crimes. Police there say a resident contacted them about a package that was incorrectly delivered to their home. The resident wanted nothing to do with the contents of the package.

An estimated 5.5 pounds of weed was dropped off at the wrong address. Of course, the police want to find the rightful owners of the package. It's the right thing to do. But how the Columbus police are seeking the owner has the internet tweeting like crazy.

If you or someone you know is the rightful owner of the 5.5-pound bags of pot, police are asking that you bring your ID to the police station to claim it!
