Apple starts free next-day deliveries just in time for Christmas

Apple starts free next-day deliveries just in time for Christmas

The time for procrastinating is over! With only a handful of days left before Christmas, if you haven't ordered your packages by now, there's a strong possibility that they won't arrive on time.

Unless, of course, you're shopping with Apple. In an effort to give shoppers just a little more time, the company is now offering free next-day delivery on anything purchased from Apple.com.

The deal will be available until December 23, but there's just one catch. Anyone can take advantage of the free shipping offer, and it's available for anything that's in stock in Apple's store. However, the offer doesn't apply to the one item many people want: Apple's new AirPods.

After a long delay, and having just been released, Apple AirPods are selling like hotcakes, and Apple is struggling to keep up with the demand.

So, if you're shopping for a new Mac computer, Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad or other products sold on Apple.com, you can take advantage of this free next-day shipping offer. You can also choose the option to pick your order up at one of Apple's retail store locations.

Want to get your order even faster? In select cities, Apple is offering a courier service that can deliver your order within just a few hours. That's still longer than Amazon's first drone delivery, which took only 13 minutes, but it's a lot better than the standard (or delayed) shipping that is so common throughout the holidays. To request same-day delivery, there is also a $19 fee.
