Do you like the new MacBook Pros? After four years, Apple unveiled the redesign last week. Siri is built into the machine and there's also a Touch ID feature to unlock it. See all of the specs here.

The latest versions also come with some upgrades you may not like. They took away the function row keys and the USB ports. If you're not too pleased about these changes then Microsoft has a lucrative alternative.

Microsoft has a trade-in program where you can get as much as $650 for exchanging an old MacBook for a Surface Pro 4 or a Surface Book. But if you're interested then you need to hurry. This program is only available until November 7!

Microsoft is only accepting old MacBooks, MacBook Pros and MacBook Airs (here is the complete list of models). After they appraise your laptop you ship it to them with the accessories. Then Microsoft will email you a promo code that you will use at checkout to get the discount.

There are many caveats to this offer so just beware. The traded-in laptop must turn on, work without being plugged in, and you need to have all the accessories it was purchased with. Read about all of the conditions to the offer and how to take advantage of the trade-in program.
