Just when you think you've seen - or smelled - it all, the internet is there to show you yet another something-or-other that leaves you saying "what in the? ..."
For those Apple fanatics that can't seem to get enough of the latest Apple gadgets, there's now a new candle that smells just like a brand new, freshly unboxed Mac. It's not too early to start thinking about Christmas gifts, is it?
Handmade by a company called 12 South, the New Mac Candle is hand-poured in South Carolina, burns between 45 to 55 hours and is even put to a sniff test at the Mac Stadium data center in Georgia. During said test, a team of "super sniffers" gave the candles a nine out of 10 rating.
The New Mac candle, made of 100 percent Soy Wax, costs $24.
Now before you write this product off as a joke, it's already sold out ... in one day! You can, however, sign up to be notified when it's available again by clicking here. 12 South says that more should be available this month, depending on the delays the company is experiencing with Hurricane Matthew.
Don't believe that this candle actually smells like a new Mac? Our friends over at 9to5Mac also put the New Mac candle to a sniff test, only they made a video. Watch to see what they found:
