As awesome as iPhones are, they aren't necessarily the most affordable phone on the market. And, if you're the type of person that has to be up-to-date and carry the latest and greatest phone out there, you know just how much money you can spend on this everyday necessity.
But now, thanks to Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program, you can easily recycle your phone and trade it in for a shiny and new iPhone 7.
When you join the program, you can get a new iPhone each and every year with low monthly payments, including Apple Care and you can even choose your own carrier. According to Apple's website, you can make payments over 24 months. Here's the payment chart:
On top of that, you can upgrade to the newest iPhone after six months, as long as you have made at least six payments.
There's also a small catch. The phone you're turning in to Apple has to be in good condition. It also has to be an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6s and your time with that phone has to be inside a specific six-month window. Otherwise, you'll need to pay the difference.
In order to see if your phone is eligible, you'll need to grab your phone's serial number and IMEI code number and enter it at Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program home page. You can find that by going to Settings >> General >> About.
