9:43 a.m.: 17 minutes before the big event! I wonder what the lightning-to-3.5mm headphone adapter will look like. We're hoping it's not too much of a hassle to use.

8:38 a.m.: Dual cameras will be interesting since it will be the first for an iPhone. Will it finally bring adjustable depth-of-field and bokeh effects to the iPhone camera, bringing it closer to what DSLRs could do?

Although this is not new for smartphones, (the LG G5, Huawei P9 and the old One M8 had dual cameras) I'm sure Apple will be utilizing these dual cameras for some "revolutionary" purpose.

8:32 a.m.: A few thoughts before the event. These rumors are all but confirmed for the new iPhone 7 - No headphone jack and dual cameras for the Plus model. I read that Apple will be using a new proprietary music streaming technology that's better than Bluetooth. I predict it's a repurposed version of Airplay since Airplay allows for lossless music streams.

8:29 a.m.: Early tweet from Apple CEO Tim Cook. Getting ready for the big day!
