The much-anticipated new iPhone doesn't even have an exact release date yet, so we can't even start a countdown clock! But what we CAN do is dig deep, ask around and put ears to the ground listening to whispers and rumors.
We've gone over all the possibilities up to this point but leaked images published in a French Apple blog could directly confirm the phone's completely revamped rear camera. So much for the "iPhone not having any major upgrades" rumor.
In the photo posted below, you see the camera in comparison with other iPhone models.
What the image shows is that there's a set of four dents surrounding the lens of the camera for the iPhone 7. In these depressions, there are springs and other tiny pieces that allow the lens to float. This is also called image stabilization.
Why is this important? When the lens "floats" it leads to less blurry photos that are more crisp and clear.
These new camera features should be included in the 4.7-inch iPhone coming out, as well as the Plus model.
