I don't know about you, but I'm constantly breaking my phone screen, which isn't an inexpensive fix.

But now, constant phone-breakers will see some relief with the latest version of Gorilla Glass breaking out onto the scene.
Glassmaker Corning is calling it Gorilla Glass 5 and it's said to be twice as tough as its predecessor, Gorilla Glass 4, and can survive falls of 5.24 feet (above your waist), 80 percent of the time.

The Glass is currently in production and should be available for mass consumption by the Apple event being held in the fall.
