Going through airport security can be a major hassle. Dealing with staff isn't always pleasant, and if you're faced with a delay, there's no telling how bad your headache can get.
But sometimes travelers do some pretty silly things that actually create their own headache. Wait until you hear what this knucklehead in England did this week that caused security to freak out.
A passenger at London Stansted Airport tried to get onto a flight with what looked like a gun in his pants pocket. Police swarmed and detained the unidentified man. They were surprised to find out that it wasn't a gun at all. It ended up being an iPhone case that looked like a gun, with realistic features including a trigger.
Essex police later took to Twitter to make some points about the incident. They posted a photo and asked what you would do if you were working as airport security and witnessed such a thing. Later they Tweeted, "bringing this to an airport makes it much less likely you'll catch your plane."

Authorities say the man could end up being charged with carrying an imitation firearm in public. But he is lucky that officers didn't mistake him for a terrorist and shoot him.
