Do you have an Android smartphone or tablet? Believe it or not, at least 1.4 billion Android gadgets are being used right now around the world by people like you.

I'm always telling you to update your computers, phones and tablets whenever Google issues Android updates. It's critical to stay updated in order to protect your personal information and files, and also to avoid hacks and data breaches with the security patches Google issues.

But if you have one of these seven Nexus phone models, you'll no longer see any updates coming your way, which means it's time for a new phone.

For the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, updates will stop after September 2017. Meanwhile, the Nexus 9 and the Nexus 6 will stop receiving updates after October 2016.

If you have an even older phone model, such as the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, updates have been long gone for at least a year now.

You've got a little bit of time until you stop getting updates, so now is the time to find out which phone you'll want to pick up next. Use these Komando Smartphone Comparison Charts to help you make a decision.
