On Wednesday, the Windows 10 Blog announced the Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14371 for Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring program. As the public release date of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update nears, the preview builds are expected to be more stable and closer to the final build.

In this latest build, Dona Sarkar, software engineer for the Windows and Device Group, highlights the introduction of the Activation Troubleshooter to address Insider reports of activation issues caused by hardware changes. There is a good chance this tool will be finalized and included in the Anniversary Update.

Other notable fixes are the improved file download experience for Microsoft Edge, a fix for inaccurate Mpeg-2 durations in the Movies and TV app, various graphical bug fixes, PDF printing issues and VPN freezing bugs.

We are expecting a few more Preview Build releases in the next few weeks as the Windows 10 Insider program winds down. The highly anticipated Windows 10 Anniversary Update is due to be released in July.

For a detailed description of all the improvements and fixes in Build 14371, check out the official Insider blog post.
