Why it's worth waiting for the (really cool) new Kindle

No matter what the product, there's always the perfect time to buy. With that in mind, we're going to recommend you NOT buy a new Kindle from Amazon. At least not until Amazon releases its new, eighth generation Kindle.

The new Kindles, being code-named "Soda" and "Whiskey" will be thinner, have a solar-powered rechargeable battery case and will work with other Amazon services like Dot and Tap, that let you order products from Amazon with the tap of a button.

Amazon hasn't released any other details or price points, so the only official statement we have is from Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos' Twitter page:

Until the new Kindles are released, you can still get lots of great books to read on your older Kindle. Click here to visit the Kindle store.

This post is brought to you by the Komando Staff. We aim to highlight products and services you might find interesting, and if you buy them, we may get a small share of the revenue from the sale from our commerce partners, including Amazon.
