There have been millions of cars recalled in the past few years. Fiat-Chrysler and Volkswagen are just two names that come to mind. Now, you can add Ford to that list as it's recalling 37,066 vehicles from the U.S. and 839 vehicles in Canada.
According to the Detroit News, Ford is recalling:
- Nearly 38,000 of the 2015/16 Ford Transit vehicles with an airbag issue.
- Close to 6,000 of the 2015/16 Lincoln MKC and Ford Explorer SUVs with a heater issue.
- Approximately 4,800 F-650 and F-750 heavy duty trucks for an issue with parking brake cable connector clips, which could result in the car not moving.
Ford has not acknowledged any injuries associated with the recalls, but is recalling the vehicles out of precaution. To see if your vehicle is one of the affected, all you have to do is enter your VIN on Ford's Service and Maintenance page. Here, you'll find out if your vehicle is OK, or if you need to take it into the shop.
If you need to get it repaired, dealers will replace the faulty parts at no cost to you.
