Spring is finally here and soon it will be time to hit the links, but not without checking out this cool new gadget for sale on Amazon.

The Garmin Vivoactive is a fitness tracker being billed as a "jack of all trades" and caters to golfers in particular. Sure, you can track your steps and sleep, and it also connects to your smartphone so you can get notifications, but what sets this gadget apart is its GPS golf tracking mode.

The special golf tracking mode lets you download course layouts for nearly 40,000 courses throughout the country. Using GPS, the gadget detects your location, so it knows what hole you're on, what's par, and how far away you are from the green or any lakes or sand traps. Better yet, it even helps you keep score.

The tracker has a 1.38-inch square display and the battery can last up to three weeks. Other modes outside of golf include modes for running, bike rides and swimming. It's selling on Amazon right now for $188.98.

If that's not enough to satisfy you however, there's the newer Garmin Vivoactive HR smartwatch for nearly $60 more ($249), coming out soon (Best Buy is currently taking pre-orders) and will have  more capabilities including calorie counting and heart rate monitoring.
