Another day, another annoying iOS 9.3 problem

It seems to happen every time. Apple releases a new operating system - this time it's iOS 9.3 - and something goes awry. First, users expressed frustration with the much-hyped Night Shift.

Now, some users are claiming that they can't visit any links online. In apps such as Chrome, Mail, Messages, Safari and some other third-party apps, clicking on links leads to nasty freezes and crashes.

The bug however only affects a relatively small number of Apple users and Apple hasn't yet publicly acknowledged the problem, but one user on Apple's Support Communities claimed that he spoke with Apple Support, which said that the problem is being addressed and that iOS 9.3.1 should be out within days.

Some users saw success with simply restarting their phones, and others have had to change settings associated with extensions and JavaScript. Other suggestions were force quitting the apps that have frozen, in order to get them to work again. Click here to hear all the complaints on Apple's Message Boards.

Until Apple issues a fix, you might want to wait to update your iPhone or iPad. If you're brave (and as stated earlier, the problem only affects a limited number of people) you can update to iOS 9.3 by going to Settings>>General>>Software Update.
