A recent post on Instagram by Swiss photographer Tiziana Vergari has gone viral.
The image captures some girls sitting on a bench. But, the question is: How many girls, exactly?
Just like the "Blue/Black, White/Gold Dress" post, which went viral last year, the "Girls" post is causing a great debate across the Web. The image shows several girls sitting side-by-side. But, is it all just one big optical illusion?
The answer is, yes.
When Vergari shared the image, she asked her followers to spot the correct number of girls. Many replied, three, four or even thought that the image featured twins. But, the actual answer is, two.
In reality, what appears to be a long line of girls sitting in a row, is actually just two girls sitting between two mirrors. The photo itself is merely capturing the girls and their reflections.
What makes it tricky, is the fact that one of the mirrors isn't visible within the camera frame. So, while you might think you're seeing a mirrored image at first, it does throw you off a bit.
So, how did you do? Did you spot the correct number of girls right away? If not, how long did it take you?
