It's early into the New Year, but already new smartphones are hitting store shelves with sleek looks and loads of features, some that'll make you think, "Wow, that's cool." Apple's new iPhone won't be unveiled until next month, but you can already pre-order new Android phones.
They're Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5, and Sony Xperia X. They've got large screens, lots of storage and RAM, and cameras with lots of megapixels. So, how do they stack up against each other? Let's start with the world's best-selling smartphone, Samsung (Galaxy S7) in photo above.
Samsung Galaxy S7
Last year, Samsung shook up the smartphone world, as much as it could be shaken when most smartphones look similar and have similar features. Its Galaxy S6 Edge featured a wrap-around screen that makes photos and videos pop.
That feature remains on its S7 Edge (5.5-inch display) but not on S7 (5.1-inch display). The phones have 4GB of RAM and up to 264GB of storage. Its battery capacity is significant at 3,000mAh. They have 12 MP rear-facing cameras and a 5 MP front-facing cameras.
