Talk about "Not Safe for Work" (NSFW). One mayor of a small town in Germany learned the importance of that acronym after he posted some NSFW content to a Facebook community thread during a political discussion.

In order to illustrate his point to his audience, Mayor Thomas Köppl of Quickborn took a screen shot of a Wikipedia page. However, before he posted it, he failed to realize that he left some tabs open in his browser that are enough to really embarrass anyone.

Mayor Köppl took down the post and acknowledged looking at the "Punishment porn videos," "BDSM porno videos" and "German slut punished" sites, but said he didn't watch any videos because the Internet connection was too slow.

He also claims that he just looked at the sites to be in the know after he overheard a conversation about one of the websites while on vacation. "They were mentioning the site 'Xhamster', and when I got to my room I wanted to get clued-up," he told The Telegraph.

Not everyone wants to "get clued-up" to porn. In fact, not only is it embarrassing, it's potentially dangerous for your computer or tablet. Click here to learn how to block porn sites on tablets, smartphones and computers.
