If you're like Facebook's other 1.6 billion users, or the 700-plus million people that use its Messenger app, you know about many of the fun things you can do. You can chat with your family and friends.

You can post pictures and videos, and comment on other people's images. You post links to articles, share your political viewpoints with the world, let people know you're at this place or that place.

You can also play games. Which, as it turns out, includes a secret chess game on Messenger. To play FBChess, you have to be in a conversation with a Messenger friend. (See photo below.)

Type in "@FBChess play." Your friend will move first. To move the FBChess pieces, type K for king, Q for queen, B for bishop, N for knight, R for rook, and P for pawn. You play it like regular chess, only it's online, and secret. So, it's cooler.
