Have you seen this brain teaser (photo above)? It tricks the brain because there are no doors on the bus.
This brain tease, which is featured in the upcoming season of National Geographic Channel's "Brain Games," asks: Which direction is the bus going?
The clue is the missing doors. (Answer is on the next page.) If you're having a tough time figuring it out, you're like a lot of adults.
It turns out that kids are much better at figuring it out than adults are. In fact, about 80% of kids under the age of 10 knew the correct answer.
It's not clear why that is, but researchers at University College London and the University of London think kids are better conditioned than adults to look for visual clues to answer a problem.
So, do you know which direction the bus is going? Think about the missing doors.
