If you've ever lost your cellphone, you know panic quickly sets in. Or, at least, it used to.
These days, you can find your lost phone fairly easily. You can find your iPhone, for instance, with the Find My iPhone app. There are Android apps, too. Plus, a lot of times, your cellphone provider can find your phone using GPS.
Unfortunately, as Michael Saba and Christina Lee are finding out, GPS signals aren't always reliable, or available. In their case, people looking for lost iPhones and Android phones are being misdirected to their Georgia home.
The couple has had frantic people banging on their door, after having been misdirected to their home. The police have also shown up at the house, and so has the angry family of a missing boy.
It's unclear what the problem is, but it's likely due to the way lost phones are found when GPS isn't available. Cellphone providers will then use triangulation to find it.
