Recently, we let you know about rumors surrounding Apple's plans to bring back a smaller version of the iPhone. But now, more information has been released that you should know about.
This coming March, Apple plans to reveal what many are calling the "iPhone mini." Internally, this smaller iPhone has been codenamed "N69," but when it's officially announced, people speculate that it will be called the iPhone 5se (or, special edition).
Compared to the bigger screen size of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, this smaller phone will seem tiny. Its screen is expected to be 4 inches, and its frame is expected to have rounded edges.
According to Apple employees, the special edition phone will be a throwback to what they call "vintage" models of the iPhone. However, when it comes to functionality, the smaller phone will operate like an enhanced version of the iPhone 5s.
Some Apple users seem to be thrilled that a smaller screen size will be on the market again. Others, however, wonder if Apple is taking a step backward.
