The end of every year means the beginning of countdowns and Top 10 lists, and Google is no different. The search giant has released its annual report of the most searched terms for 2015, and some might surprise you.

Early in the year, we were all mesmerized by "The Dress," mourned the death of Cecil the Lion, and had our minds blown when NASA discovered water on Mars. We discovered that thousands of teens will torture themselves to look like Kylie Jenner. And in December, it looks like we have ALL caught a case of "Star Wars" fever, but even before that, there was "Pope-a-Palooza."

What else defined us in 2015? Here's a top 10 list of the most searched terms spanning all of 2015, some of which you might recognize from Komando.com:

10. American Sniper
9. Caitlyn Jenner
8. Ronda Rousey
7. Fallout 4
6. Furious 7
5. Paris
4. Jurassic World
3. Agar.io
2. Charlie Hebdo
