If you have an Apple iPhone, you probably like it for its smooth operation. Unlike some other smartphones, and digital devices like your laptop or desktop computer, you don't often run into problems with it suddenly slowing down.
If that does happen, one trick you might try is to restart your device. Which is a headache if you don't want to shut down all the apps you have open.
As it turns out, there's a simpler way to refresh your iPhone without shutting down your apps, according to an IT tech named Marc Forrest. (See his Twitter tweet below.)
You simply hold down your power button until you see the message, "Slide to Power Off." Then hold down your home button for about five seconds (see video).
Your iPhone will open up a refreshed homepage. It'll look unchanged, but when you tap on any of your apps, they'll reload. You should notice your iPhone running faster.
