How can you not love emojis? Those cute little cartoon images, like smiley faces or grandmas or ballet dancers, can't help but make you smile when you put one on a text message.
They're so popular there's even a World Emoji Day and, when Apple recently rolled out new emojis, there was a mad rush for middle-finger emojis. (And less confrontational ones.)
Now, Finland is joining the emoji movement by becoming the first country to have official emojis. It's going to be issuing about 30 country-themed emojis as part of its 2015 This is Finland Christmas calendar.
But it's already released three emojis, like these naked Finns. They're taking part in one of the country's most recognizable activities, the sauna. See a couple of more Finland emojis on the next page.
This is Finland's emojis also include the Nokia 3310, which it says was one of the best-selling cellphones of all time. And there's a headbanger emoji because the often-sunless country has a thing for dark, heavy-metal music.
