Adobe predicts Black Friday deals and more

Every year, software giant Adobe uses its Adobe Marketing Cloud to crunch some numbers and make predictions about the upcoming season. Adobe says that it's been accurate within about 2% every year so far.

This year, it examined 55 million products from 4,500 retailers stretching back to 2008. From that, it's found some interesting facts about the best days to buy electronics, jewelry, toys and more, along with how people are going to be buying this Thanksgiving weekend.

In a nutshell:

  • The best day to buy toys is the Saturday before Thanksgiving
  • The best day to buy electronics is the Monday before Thanksgiving
  • The best day to buy jewelry is on Thanksgiving day
  • The best day to buy apparel is the last minute, usually by Dec. 23rd
