Facebook is testing out a lot of new features these days, including new shopping features and a videos page, where Facebook will recommend videos to watch based on what you've already viewed. But another new feature was yanked before anyone really got a chance to test it out.

That's because this new feature, which revealed how popular or unpopular you are, was a bug, according to Facebook. That's the official statement, but a quick and negative response from Facebook users may have been the catalyst to kill off this feature.

It involved those little Like, Comment and Share buttons you see under your posts. With those, you get a sense of which of your posts are most popular. But you never really know exactly how many people are seeing them.

However, Facebook's new "Views" bug suddenly showed you exactly how many people were seeing your posts. Your popularity, or lack of it, was on full display.
