You know how embarrassing it is when you send the wrong person a text message? Maybe after chatting with your mother, you send your best friend a foul-mouthed rant about your ex-boyfriend. Except, you never closed out of mom's chat. "Oops. Sorry Mom! Not for you."
Well, you can imagine how embarrassing it can get with all the naked photos people are sharing on social media sites like Snapchat. You may have recently heard about a guy who sent a potential employer a selfie of his private parts. Not good.
So, how would you feel if you accidentally sent your boss a picture of yourself in the buff? Yuck.
That's exactly what happened to an unnamed woman. She sent her boyfriend a selfie of her bare breast using Snapchat, with the message: "What ur missing this weekend. :)"
Except, she accidentally sent it to her boss. He was nice about it, but stern in his response: "Hi, you probably did not mean to send this to me, but please be more careful. I am your BOSS."
Fortunately for her, Snapchat posts disappear shortly after you send them. The whole point is to not get bogged down with scrolling through too much information, like you might on Facebook. The problem is that disappearing act also makes people a little bit more uninhibited. The downside for this lady is, while her photo may have vanished from her boss' phone, it'll never fade from either of their memories.
