Did you know Microsoft has its own wearable computer? OK, it's more of a fitness tracker than a smartwatch, but it does some smartwatch-y things.
When Microsoft announced a big unveiling event this upcoming October, we knew it would involve new Windows phones and possibly a new Surface, but now it's looking like this new wearable accessory could be part of the show.
The Microsoft Band 2 is the fancy new accessory that can tell you about your upcoming business meetings as well as keep you on track with your daily exercise routine. But the great news is that all of these features are built within a sleek metal finish that should work for almost any outfit.
The rounded edges and modern design will be a much-welcomed change after the clunky, box-like design of the original Microsoft Band.
We will find out many more details about this cool hybrid smartwatch/fitness band on October 6, when Microsoft has its device release event. You can watch this online or through your Xbox console when the time comes.
To hold you over until then, take a peek at these photos from Microsoft Insider and then tell us whether or not you would spend your money on the Microsoft Band 2.
We think the Band 2 looks gorgeous, but what about you? Tell us in the comment section below.
