The hype is building for the new Star Wars movies, but could the series soon be coming to Netflix?
Netflix has denied that it will soon have the Star Wars movies available for streaming, but thanks to a glitch, rumors are running rampant as evidence to the contrary emerges.
In fact, I was able to see the glitch for myself. If you log onto Netflix, you can find landing pages for all six of the Star Wars movies. See below for my screen shots:
However, if you enter "Star Wars" in the search bar, all you will see is this:
On top of the visual evidence, Netflix also recently announced it was ending its deal with Epix entertainment, which saw many popular titles disappear from the site. We also know that Netflix has a deal in place with Disney, which means popular Disney movies will soon be streaming. And guess who owns the Star Wars franchise? Yep, you guessed it. Disney.
What do you think? Is there enough evidence to prove that Netflix is lying about not streaming the Star Wars movies? Let me know what you think about this glitch by posting in the comments below.
