Eat your heart out Apple! Anything you can do, Microsoft can too. At least that's what the company hopes to do with its own big launch event early next month. If you missed anything from Apple's big launch, we've got you covered, just click here.
We told you how Bill Gates predicted tablets would be the new laptops, an idea the late Steve Jobs of Apple didn't think much of. But many saw Apple's introduction of the huge iPad Pro as derivative of Microsoft's Surface Pro 3, with its stylus and keyboard attachment.
Sure enough, not even a month after Apple's shindig announcing the iPad Pro and new iPhones, Microsoft is expected to announce the Surface Pro 4 on October 6, as well as two phones, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. With this summer's launch of Windows 10, Microsoft is now ready to show some new hardware to run its new operating system.
Images of the Lumia 950 and 950 XL leaked late last month. The phones will run the new Windows 10 Mobile operating system. As for the Surface Pro 4, it's expected to be thinner and lighter than the Surface Pro 3, with a larger display and higher resolution. The rumor mill says there may be a new Surface device as well.
