Now, this is cool. If you have kids or grandchildren, you probably can't start a conversation with them that doesn't begin with, "Take those earbuds out, and listen to me."
Earbuds are so tiny, and easy to use for listening to music on a smartphone or tablet, it's no wonder they don't go anywhere without them. Thankfully, you can always tell when they've got earbuds in because the wires are hanging out of their ears.
Except, that's not so for a really cool pair of earbuds. These are wireless earbuds, from Onkyo, and they're pretty amazing.
Onkyo's W800BT earbuds connect wirelessly to a smartphone or other device, using Bluetooth technology. It's the same idea with wireless speakers that you use to listen to music, or make phone calls. Except, these are tiny earbuds that fit inside each ear.
The W800BTs are battery charged, and come with their own carrying case. Each battery charge is good for about 12 hours of wirelessly listening to music.
Onkyo's W800BT aren't cheap. They'll be available in time for Christmas for about $335.
Still, your kids or grandchildren will love them. But there's a downside to wireless earbuds: You may never get to talk to your kids or grandchildren again.
