If you have a thirst for knowledge or if you're just looking to kill the next 30 minutes, Google has a very cool new trick that's simple to use. There are two secret code phrases that will give you a delightful response when you type them into Google.

The two phrases are "fun facts" or "I'm feeling curious." Let's try them, and see what Google comes up with.

The first result for "fun facts" answers the question "Where does Hunchback take place?" We knew that one already - it's referring to the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Notre Dame Cathedral is in Paris. Luckily, just below the Q&A is a button to "Ask Another Question."

"How far does the ball drop in Times Square?" That's one we didn't know. It drops 141 feet in 60 seconds, from 11:59 p.m. to midnight of the new year.

Keep at this a while and you'll fill your mind with all sorts of trivia. Just hope you remember it next time you're playing Trivial Pursuit.
