If you travel a lot for business, you can't help but notice that the one time you're not making connections with potential customers, colleagues or employers is the exact time you're surrounded by hundreds or thousands of them. At the airport.

Frequent flyers like you often find themselves all alone at an airport, even though like-minded business people are zipping by. It's different on the plane or at the hotel bar, where you easily make small talk, and business connections. But, at the airport, nothing.

It's understandable. Being at the airport can be draining, and striking up conversations with a million people around can be awkward. Which is where FlyghtClub can help.

It works like the dating app Tinder, which can use your GPS to pinpoint potential mates who are nearby, maybe even just a few feet away. Except, FlyghtClub is designed specifically for frequent flyers.

Hanging around at an airport for the next couple of hours? You can stick a few bucks into a massage chair, to kill some time. Or, you can connect with other business people with FlyghtClub.

Signing up is simple, and free. Get the FlyghtClub app, then log in with your LinkedIn or Facebook account. Put in your flight number, and FlyghtClub connects you with other people on your flight.

Note: FlyghtClub currently works only on Android devices.

Once signed up, you can chat in the airport, on the flight itself or on your way to the hotel. It's great for making business connections, or just getting suggestions for good restaurants in town, or tourist spots to check out, in between meetings.
